Ruby Teardrop Sterling Silver Earrings, Handmade

Faceted genuine ruby teardrops, wrapped in Sterling Silver wire, swing playfully from curvy silver cast links in this pair of handcrafted earrings.

The opaque rubies are a very dark Merlot color that I've had difficulty capturing in the photos, so to give you a better idea of them, I'll use the words dark and sulty! The bright highly polished Sterling Silver is striking against the moody pop of color provided by the rubies.

While most people think of transparent or translucent stones when it comes to rubies, sapphires, emeralds, etc., I'm actually drawn to the opaque stones because of the earthy, organic beauty of them. These earrings will easily adapt to their surroundings, whether at the mall, your favorite restaurant, or a fancy night club. Pair them up with other pieces in your jewelry box, and try them with breezy summer dresses, and cuddly winter sweaters! They won't disappoint.

They hang below beautifully simple Sterling leverback findings, which completes the sassy style of these earrings beautifully.
