Flashy Labradorite and Sterling Silver Drop Earrings

Smooth Labradorite teardrops are the focus in this simple pair of artisan handmade earrings. The stones are stunning, throwing flashes of blue from within dusky gray translucence, and in some light, you'll see flashes of golden peach, as well as the blue. They're wrapped in 10" of bright sterling silver, and drop beneath my own handcrafted hammered ear wires.

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral that displays an outrageously stunning iridescent optical affect (schiller) known as labradorescence. If you've never seen Labradorite, you're in for an unexpected and delightful treat!

The neutral colors of Labradorite allow it to be paired with just about any color on earth. It's stunning with all shades of blue, black, gray, reds, and earth tones.

These are petite drops, making them easy to wear for any occasion when you're looking for a subtle but lovely finishing touch.

* Earrings hang approximately 1.25" (3cm) from top of earwires
* Labradorite Teardrops = approximately 7mm x 12mm (.27" x .47")

All metal is Sterling Silver, and all work is done by hand, by me. Labradorite is really difficult to photograph, but I'm including enough pictures that I hope you can get an idea of the colors and blue flash in these particular stones.
